My other half made lentil soup the other night so thought it would be a good idea to share the recipe on the blog.
Ingredients: 3 large carrots, 3 stalks of celery chopped, 12 cups of Organic Nature’s Promise Vegetable Broth, 1 pound of Organic Lentils, 1 onion, 3 garlic cloves, 1 tomato chopped, olive oil, salt, pepper, italian seasonings, 1 cup of pasta
Recipe: Sautee the garlic, onion, carrot, and the celery in two table spoons of oil for 8 minutes. Mix in tomatoes and lentils. Add the broth in and bring the soup to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 30minutes. Add the pasta into the broth and cook it for 6 minutes. Add in more or less broth depending on desired consistency.
